Utility, Communities & Roadmap

Read about our specific approach to creating utility, communities and roadmaps to create long-term success for project launches

The Problem

Majority of projects slowly die (slow reduction in MC) after launching because the developers either abandon the project (and community) or stop providing frequent updates/utility to holders, or just fail to provide value that is desired by the traders of the project.

  • This may be as a result of inexperience, with a desire to promote long term performance, but unable to execute due to lack of data, perspective and overall inexperience (as most project developers are not traders themselves - the problem we want to solve).

  • Developers do not care about their communities, traders (e.g. by abandoning promises or their roadmap) and are solely launching for financial gain (projects that we aim to vet out from our launches to create a "badge of approval").

The Effect

Punishes the traders who hold project tokens for the long term, hoping the developer will act on their promises.

  • Decreases the trust for future projects, encouraging scalping rather than holding.

The Solution

Having a governing collaboration (Incubater) to keep developers accountable and keep to their word compared to the common project in the ecosystem. This includes:

  • Contracted partnership with the startups we launch tokens for accountability.

  • An official "trader-approved" frameworks for growing, maintaining and promoting the project, the community and tech - present for pre-launch, during launch and post-launch (long term).

  • Partnerships with other developers to keep each other accountable.

  • Implementation of a community, which is released pre-launch.

  • Project roadmap and key dates to new features on the project.

  • A clear demonstration of tech and utility pre-launch.

  • Trust, transparency and direction with building a roadmap optimised for traders and long-term growth of the project (e.g. creating utility that is actually impactful vs as a gimmick).

Qualifying projects using a multi step internal framework in order to find if the developer and his/her project is suitable for a successful token launch. Generally, we look for:

  • Founders who are truly committed and passionate about building (after understanding the web3 space). Builders who are willing to stake their reputation on their work alongisde Incubater for the community.

  • Teams that are ready to perform consistently through different market conditions. (again, we know when the market conditions are right to launch, but the team has to be ready to "ride through the ups and downs" of the market).

  • Founders who are willing to take the unconventional route, and do “whatever it takes” for their business, product, customers, community, project - for themselves.

  • Projects actually solves a real world problem.

  • Brand and identity development can be unique and memorable - not unoriginal and recycled.

  • An actual reason to launch a token and implement utility which will benefit the trader (their ideas to be evaluated based on our criteria).

  • Doxxed and comfortable talking, taking feedback and frequently engage with the community.

The Benefit

Project longevity & higher valuations

  • Believers will be rewarded for holding the token over a long-period of time, because they are confident in the startup, product, community, the startup founders and us, as their launch partners.

  • Increased certainty/trust from traders, and future projects.

  • More on-chain opportunities to capitalise.

Incentivize a PVE market instead of a PVP, benefiting all trader types & the Solana ecosystem in general as part of our Our Mission, Vision & Values.
